    MARTINEK-McDANIEL
Mr. and Ms. Vinc Martinek of Silver Lake, announce the marriage of their daughter, Marjorie Doreen, to Ensign William McDaniel, son of Mr. and Mrs. William McDaniel, of Silver Lake.

The double-ring ceremony took place at 8 o’clock Thursday evening, September 28, at Jacksonville, Fla. The Rev. John L. Horton, pastor of the Riverside Methodist Church, performed the ceremony at his home.

The young bride was lovely in a two-piece powder blue dress with dark brown accessories. Her shoulder corsage was of pink roses and white tuberoses. A strand of pearls, a gift of the bridegroom, was her only ornament.

Mrs. John Horton attended the bride as maid of honor and Ensign James Blossom served as best man.

A wedding dinner at the Hotel George Washington for the bridal couple followed the ceremony.

Mrs. McDaniel, an attractive brunette, is employed in the car service department of the Santa Fe offices. She is a graduate of Silver Lake high school and attended Strickler’s Business College. She has a three- months leave of absence.

Ensign McDaniel, a Navy flier, was employed in the office at the Santa. Fe shops before he entered service. He received his advanced training and commission at Corpus Christi, Texas. He is now stationed at the Cecil Field Naval Auxiliary air station at Jacksonville.

After a brief honeymoon the couple will be at home at 718 Gilmore Street, Jacksonville, Fla.
