 | Obituary- Partello, Edward 1 After a long and lingering illness Mr. Edward E. Partelow [sic Partello], died at his home in Rossville, at five o'clock on the morning of Dec. 23, 1903. For months, Mr. Partelow had suffered intensely and it seemed almost impossible for him to live from day to day. He was a man of great energy and [ability] and his battle for life was [ ], but he was finally forced to surrender. The deceased was born in Kentucky, but moved to the west in an early day, and for years drove a government wagon over the plains. At this time he led a life of [ ] |
 | Obituary- Partello, Edward 2 hardship. He knew no home but the wide extended plains, and slept at night with the starry heavens as his covering. He finally settled on his farm near Rossville where he spent the closing years of his life. A few months before he died he gave his life into his savior's hands and united with the Presbyterian Church. It was the regret of the closing weeks of his life that he had not lived christian all his life. The funeral services were conducted by the Rev. H.L. Nelson in the Presbyterian Church, at two o'clock, Dec. 24. He was laid to rest in the Rossville cemetery. His wife and children have the sympathy of their many friends. |

E.E. Partelow died Wednesday morning at his home in the northeast part of town after a lingering illness from consumption. Funeral services will be held in the Presbyterian Church today (Thursday) at 2 o'clock p.m. |
