Mrs. Rogers and Mrs. Bill Hesse were hostesses. After several appropriate games, the guest of honor opened her many gifts, and lovely refreshments were served.   		Bridal Shower- Pendleton, Betty 2 SHOWER HONORS MRS. BETTY MILLER Mrs. Betty Miller was the honor guest Saturday evening, March 29, at a miscellaneous shower given by the ladies of the West Union Ladies Aid Club at the home of Mrs. Hattie Grant. After a series of games, the bride went to the gift table and opened her many lovely gifts. Guests present were Mesdames Betty Miller, Naomi Pendleton, Violet Miller, Marie Masters, Eunice Crow, Marie Rogers, Rebecca Fouts, Hattie Grant, Opal Sheets, Margaret Billings, Fern Grant, Irene Miller, Mrs. Clyde Carrier and sons, Topeka, and Misses Marilene Pendleton, Geraldine Masters, Linda Ungeheuer, Ellen Miller. Those who sent gifts but were unable to attend were Lydia Fitzgerald, Kate Stevens and Mrs. Clyde Rogers, Miss Jane Rogers, and Mrs. Alberta Bauer.
  		Marriage- Pendleton, Betty-Miller, Donald Pendleton-Miller marriage is announced Mr. and Mrs. W.W. Pendleton of Willard announce the marriage of their daughter Betty to Mr. Donald Miller, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Miller also of Willard. The bride is a student at Stormont School of Nursing in Topeka. Donald at present is engaged in farming. Both are graduates of Rossville High School. They are making their home on the Miller farm south of Willard.

• Documents		Birth- Miller, David Mr. and Mrs. Don Miller announce the birth of a son on Wednesday, October 7 at St. Francis hospital in Topeka. They have named him David William [not sure if middle name is William or Warren].
  		Obituary- Miller, David W. David W. Miller April 27, 2018 Maple Hill–David W. Miller, 58, died Friday, April 27, 2018 near Maple Hill in a farm accident. He was born October 7, 1959 in Topeka the son of Donald and Elizabeth Pendelton Miller. David grew up in the Rossville and Willard communities. He graduated from Rossville High School in 1977 and then attended and graduated from Cloud County Community College. David was a farmer all of his life. He was a partner/operator of Miller Farms LLC. He was a life member of FFA; David was a member of the Mission Creek Township and had been a past member of the St. Marys COOP board. On September 17, 1981 he was united in marriage to Noel Hier in Topeka. She survives of the home. Other survivors include his son, Chisholm David Miller and his fiancé ,Sara Gardner, Waukesha, WI; his parents, Don and Betty Miller, Topeka; siblings, Louise “LuAnn” (Paul) Baumchen, Lawrence, Diana (Jim) Iseman, Burlington, Suzanne (Ronnie) Tull, Willard, Sarah (Kevan) Meinershagen, Lawrence and Daniel (Jennifer) Miller, Willard. Graveside services will be at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, May 5, 2018 at the Dover Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:30 P.M. Friday, May 4, 2018 at Piper Funeral Home in St. Marys. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mission Valley FFA and sent to Piper Funeral Home, 714 Maple St., St. Marys, Kansas 66536.
