Richard Charles “Ricky” Clark, “Sin-nawg-gwin," 36, Delia, died Monday, June 20, 2016 at his home.
He was born July 13, 1979, in Topeka, the son of Richard Gene Clark and Patricia Jo Miller. He was raised by his mother and stepfather, James M. “Jim” Potter.
Mr. Clark worked at Taco John’s in Topeka before he became disabled in 2007. He moved to Delia in 2014.
He was a member of the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation and the Drum Religion.
Survivors include his mother, Patricia Potter, Delia; his father, Richard Clark, Topeka; three brothers, Robert Lara, Christopher Clark and Joshua Clark, all of Topeka; a sister, January Bird, Winnebago, Neb.; and a niece, September Thomas. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Jim Potter, on June 11, 2014.
Drum services will be held Thursday evening at the Danceground Building west of Mayetta. Burial will be held Friday afternoon at the Danceground Cemetery. Mr. Clark will lie in state until 3 p.m. Thursday at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton.
