HAVENSVILLE - Cleon A. Bishop, 86, Havensville, died Saturday at a Topeka hospital where he had been since he was transferred from an Onaga hospital May 11.
He was born Jan. 9, 1894, at Lincoln, the son of William and Lois Carr Bish¬op.
Mr. Bishop had farmed in the Ha¬vensville community since 1946. He was retired.
He was a veteran of World War I and a member of Glen Nichols Post No. 333 of the American legion, Havensville.
He married Leatha Brees of Delia in Holton on Oct. 3, 1928. She survives.
Other survivors include three daugh¬ters, Mrs. Dorothy Cline and Mrs. Mary McDougal, both of Havensville, and Mrs. Helen Rose, Onaga; two sons. Glen Bishop, Delia, and Carl Bishop, Salina; his twin brother, Clinton Bish¬op, Bellvue; 21 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Havensville Christian Church. Burial will be in Havensville Cemetery. Mem¬orial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Tessendorf Mortuary, Onaga, is in charge of ar¬rangements.
