    CARL R. BOSWELL
    Services were at 2:00 p.m. Friday at Verschelden Funeral Home for Carl Raymond Boswell, 79, Delia, who died Tuesday in a Topeka hospital after a short illness.

    The Revererd Dwight Seneker and the Reverend Clifton Kruse officiated. Vocalist was Mary Jane Handley. She was accompanied by Marguerite Williams.

    He was born February 4, 1894, in Joplin, Mo.

    Mr. Boswell was married in Sapulpa, Okla., in 1924, to Gladys Moser; they lived between Yale and Oilton in Oklahoma until 1950. They then moved to the Onaga-Delia communities. She survives.

    He was a rancher and stockman. Mr. Boswell was a member of IOOF Lodge No. 234, Onaga, and Oilton United Methodist Church.

    Other survivors include four sons, Raymond Boswell, Cedarvale, Lester Boswell, Cheyenne Wells, Colo., LaVerne Boswell, and C. A. Boswell, both of Onaga; a daughter, Mrs. Vera Clark, Bel Air, Md.; a brother, Walter G. Boswell, Sun City, Ariz.; a sister, Mrs. Grace Griem, Coldwater; 19 grandchildren and 7 great grand-children; 4 daughters-in-law, one son-in-law, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

    Burial was in the Onaga Cemetery. Casket bearers were his grandsons: Floyd Boswell, Cheyenne Wells, Colo,; Gordon Boswell, Littleton, Colo.; Rick Boswell, McPherson, Ks.; Ken Boswell, Greg Boswell, and Justin Boswell, all of Onaga; Kirk Boswell and Blaine Boswell, both of Cedarvale; and Brock Clark, Bel Air, Md.

    Memorial contributions may be made to Delia Presbyterian Church or the Onaga Congregational Church Building Fund and sent in care of Onaga First National Bank or the funeral home.
