LANAGAN, Mo. — Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Nativity Catholic Church in Noel, Mo., for Mrs. Amy Aitkens McCarty, 93, Lanagan, Mo., who died Friday at an Anderson, Mo., nursing home.
She was born Dec. 16, 1883, at Rossville, Kan., the daughter of John Charles and Mary Cecilia Larton Aitkens. She lived in Delia, Kan., before she moved to Lanagan in 1953.
She was a member of Nativity Catholic Church, Noel. She was a Citizens Band Potawatomi Indian.
Her husband, Bill McCarty, died June 15, 1970.
Survivors include a son, Eldon Darnell, Mayetta, Kan.; a sister, Anna Moore, Elk City, Okla.; and four grandchildren.
Burial will be in Lanagan Cemetery. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today at the Ozark Funeral Home in Anderson, Mo.

She was born December 16, 1888, at Rossville, the daughter of John Charles and Mary Cecilia Larton. Aitkens. She lived in Delia before she moved to Lanagan in 1953.
She was a member of Nativity Catholic Church, Noel. She was a Citizens Band Potawatomi Indian.
