Silas Osborn was born in the state of Illinois in the year of 1848. At the age of 29 years he moved to Kansas and

 | Obituary- Osborn, Silas 2 resided the greater part of the time since in Topeka. He leaves a wife and five children and one brother in Rossville, Robert, to mourn his loss. Mr. Osborn was an old soldier and a worthy member of the G.A.R, under whose auspices services were conducted in Topeka. The remains were brought to Rossville Sunday afternoon and funeral rites conducted at the M.E. Church by Rev. Rice, after which the body was buried in the city cemetery. |
