  Obituary- Adams, Bonnie BONNIE IRENE ADAMS Mrs. Bonnie Irene Adams, 62, Topeka, died Thurs., July 13, 2006, at Stormont-Vail Hosp. She was born Oct. 4, 1943, at Topeka the daughter of Beryle W. and Kathryn I. (Frey) Guffey. Bonnie was married to William Dean Adams on Oct. 22, 1961, at Topeka. He preceded her in death on June 9, 1992. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Shelia Manis, on Aug. 14, 1998; and a brother, Dennis Guffey, on Sept. 3, 1998. Surviving are 2 daughters: Tresa L. Weaver and Billie D. Faulkner both of Topeka; a son: Timothy E. Adams of Topeka; 2 brothers: Bruce Guffey of Lawrence and Tom Kolde of Silver Lake; and 6 grandchildren: Samantha, Alison, Andrew, Brady, Tommy, and Steven. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Mon., July 17, 2006, at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 N.W. Independence. Interment will be in Rossville Cemetery. Bonnie will lie in state after 1:00 p.m., Sunday, at the funeral chapel where the family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association, 837 South Hillside, Wichita, KS 67211.
