 | Obituary- Cander, Charles Charles Cander, 82, died Sunday morning at the home of his daughter Mrs. Joe Simecka near Delia. A son John Cander of Topeka, also survives.
He was born in Austria in 1853, and had been a resident of Kansas, living near Delia, for about fifty years. Besides his son, a daughter, Mrs. Mary Simecka, Delia, nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren survive him.
Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at 9 o'clock from the Catholic church in Delia. (Sacred Heart Church). The body was taken to St. Marys cemetery for burial.
