They have lived in the Delia community since their marriage. Mr. Burgett has retired from farming and Mrs. Burgett is retired from the Social and Rehabilitation Services with the state of Kansas.

• Documents		Obituary- Burgett, Ada 1 DELIA -- Mrs. Ada Mae Burgett, 71, Delia, died Tues., Jan. 16, 1990, at a Rossville nursing home. Mrs. Burgett worked for Social and Rehabilitation Services at the state level in Topeka before she retired in 1983. She was born Aug. 16, 1918, in Rossville, the daughter of George W. and Elma Cathcart Brashear. Mrs. Burgett was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Delia. She was married to Robert I. Burgett Oct. 11, 1939, in Delia. He survives. Other survivors include three daughters, Sheila A. Parnell, Cassville, Mo., Mary T. Kemp, Bandon, Ore., and Rose E. Stanley, Quincy, Fla.; three sons, James R. Burgett, St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, Marvin E. Burgett, Topeka, and Nathan E. Burgett, Louisville, Ky.; two sisters, Mildred Curry, Joplin, Mo., and Dorothy Daw, Seaside, Ore.; five grandchildren; and three step grandchildren. Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Delia. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery in St. Marys. Mrs. Burgett will like in state after 9 a.m. Thursday at Verschelden Funeral Home in St. Marys where a rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Thursday. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
