 | Marriage- Estes, Blanche-Parr, John 1 Estes-Parr
Miss Blanche Estes and Mr. John Parr were united in marriage Wednesday afternoon at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Estes, the Rev. J.K. Miller officiating.
Only the immediate relatives were witnesses of the ceremony. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. J.A. Parr, and both he and bride are very estimable young people who have the best wishes of many friends for their happiness.
They will go to housekeeping at once on the Taylor farm west of town which the groom has rented for the coming season.

 | Obituary- Parr, Infant son Obituary.
On the 28th of Feb. the infant son of Mrs. John Parr fell asleep to awake in Heaven. The Master who said, "Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not, for of such is the Kingdom of Heaven" has again called unto Himself one of his little ones. Thus while there is sorrow because of the parting, yet the bereaved ones know that.
"God has taken him away
From our midst unto His throne;
Surely what He wills is best
Happy in His will well rest."
