 | Obituary- Zickefoose, Frank FRANK E. ZICKEFOOSE
Frank E. Zickefoose, 63, of Rossville died Wednesday at his home after a brief illness. His death wa3 unexpected. He had been under a specialist’s care for a few weeks with trouble in the middle ear, which caused him to overbalance easily and have dizzy spells, but the specialist felt confident that could be straightened out.
He was born December 16, 1884, in Rossville and spent his entire life here.
For a number of years he lived on a farm and conducted a twice daily milk route in Rossville, later retiring from that and took over the operation of a service station at Main Street and Highway 40-24.
He was a past master of Hesperian Lodge No. 111 of Rossville and past district deputy grand master of the 72nd District of A. F. and A. M. of Kansas.
Frank was devoted to his family, a friend to all and a trustworthy citizen.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Lydia Zickefoose, of the home; one son Dr. S. F. Zickefoose, Rossville; one brother, Henry Zickefoose, Stapleton, Neb.; three grandchildren.
Services will be at 3 p. m., Friday at the Rossville Christian church. Burial will be in the Rossville cemetery with Hesperian Lodge, A. F. & A. M. in charge.
