 | Obituary- Higginbotham, Ben Ben Higginbotham Dead.
Word was received here last week that B.W. Higginbotham, a former resident of this city, had died at his home in Guthrie, Okla., May 14, from paralysis.
He was a brother of C.W. Higginbotham of this city. The funeral was held at the home and was in charge of the Masonic fraternity. Interment took place in Guthrie cemetery.
B.W. was born in Virginia, near Lynchburg. He came to Rossville in 1861 and spent the greater part of his life since that date in this town. About six years ago he moved with his wife to Guthrie, where about a year ago he suffered a stroke of paralysis. He gradually recovered and enjoyed comparatively good health when he was again stricken last week. He was 77 years old. His many friends here join in extending condolence to the bereaved wife.
