• Documents		Obituary- Badura, John BADURA, John Born: -- --- 1888 Died: 18 May 1908 John was a brother of Joseph Badura of Rossville. The funeral was held at the home with Rev. John Case, a Bohemian Minister from Wilson, Kansas officiating. Burial was in the Czech Moravian Cemetery.
  		Obituary- Badura, John 2 Head Blown Off With Dynamite. John Badura, a Bohemian who worked for Joe Simecka on his farm about 4 miles east of Delia, was found dead in the field Monday afternoon with his head blown off. He had left the house in the morning to grub out some willows in a ravine. When he did not come in for dinner the family went in search and found him in the willow patch with his head blown off. The neighbors were notified and Dr. Frisbey of Delia sent for who had the body removed to Delia to await the arrival of the coroner from Holton. Mr. Simecka kept some dynamite in the house. Monday morning the hired man asked Mrs. Simecka where the dynamite was and she told him. It was missing when search was made for it. The coroner and county attorney came down Monday evening and after an inquiry among the dead man’s acquaintances they arrived at the conclusion that it was a case of suicide. It appears that the young man was disappointed in a love affair. From all appearances Badura had placed the dynamite on top of his dead and then lit the fuse. Pieces of his skull were found in all directions in a radius of 150 feet. The dead man was about 21 years old and a brother of Joe Badura, or “Badger,” as he is more commonly known. The body was taken to Joe’s home Tuesday and funeral services were held at the house, conducted by Rev. John Case, a Bohemian preacher from Wilson, Kans.
