 | Obituary- Carlisle, Charles CHARLES BRADLEY CARLISLE
Mr. Carlisle was born February 11, 1868 at Peru, Nebraska, and died September 8, 1935, on the farm north of Delia. Forty-four years ago next November, the deceased was united in marriage to Miss Ella Granger at Glenrock, Nebraska. Mrs. Carlisle preceded him in death almost five years ago.
Five children survive: Messrs. Henry and Floyd Carlisle of Clay Center, Kansas; Mrs. Gladys Ferrill of Leavenworth, Kansas; Mrs. Anna Wilbur, Peabody, Kansas; Mrs. Marie McNieve of Decatur, Illinois. Also surviving are sisters and brothers as follows: Mrs. Nellie F. Baty and Mrs. Fannie Colton of Tecumseh, Nebraska; J. W. Carlisle, Elmore, Mo., Mrs. Lucy Divle. Holmesville, Neb., F. J. Carlisle, Ainsworth, Neb., Bertha Heath, Rose, Neb., and ten grandchildren.
The decease came to Jackson county in 1919 and has resided with his grandson, M. H. Carlisle north of Delia. Funeral services were held in the Presbyterian church of Delia, Rev. Bruce Davis officiating. Interment in Delia cemetery, Friday, September 13.
