Calvin D. Crow, 66, Carbondale, died Wednesday, January 7, 1998 at Kansas City North Hospital, Kansas City, MO.
He was born December 22, 1931, near Dover in Wabaunsee County, the son of Marion Lawrence and Lola G. Schlesser Crow.
He lived in Carbondale the past four years. He spent his early life in the Dover area and was graduated from Maple Hill High School in 1949. He had lived in Rossville and Topeka before moving to Osage City in 1970. He was a farmer and had sold McNess Feeds and Moorman Feeds, and had been a John Deere implement salesman. He retired in 1994. He served three years in the United State Army. He was a member of the Moose Lodge No. 555 in Topeka.
He was married to Billie J. Waetzig, December 30, 1983, in Topeka. She survives.
Other survivors include three daughters, Donola Fairbanks, Delia, Debra Siebring, Osage City, and Denise Hersh, Topeka; two stepdaughters, Frances Boudreau and Beth Boudreau, both of Topeka; one son, Doug Crow, Emporia; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
The family received friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday at Crable Funeral Chapel in Osage City. His service was at 1:30 Saturday at the funeral chapel. Burial was in Carbondale Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or Salvation Army and sent in care of the funeral home.

Mr. Crow farmed and had sold McNess Feeds and Mooreman Feeds. He had been a salesman for a John Deere implement dealership. He served in the Army for three years.
