Miss Curran was born Sept. 30, 1889, at Dawson, Neb., and later lived in Kansas City many years. She was graduated from St. Mary’s Hospital School of Nursing at Kansas City, Mo., in 1920. She was a registered nurse and worked in Kansas City until 1937 when she moved to Delia. She was a clerk in the Delia Post Office many years before she retired. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church at Delia A sister Mrs. Mary Stanfill, Seattle, Wash. Survives. Burial will be in St. John’s Catholic Cemetery at Herington. Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Verschelden Funeral Home at St. Marys.
