James H. Cutbirth of 721 Arter, a member of the Kansas City police force for 30 years, died early Wednesday in a Topeka hospital. He had lived in Silver Lake and Topeka the last 14 years.
Born and reared in Silver Lake, he leaves his wife, Mrs. Grace Cutbirth of the home; a stepson, H.R. Allen of Kansas City, Mo.; two grandsons; two sisters, Mrs. O.C. Neiswender of 1321 Topeka and Mrs. W.R. Robinson of route 4; two brothers, R.G. Cutbirth of Enid, Ok., and Everett Cutbirth of Auburn.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Parker mortuary with burial at Silver Lake.
