  Obituary- DeBacker, George W. George W. DeBacker DELIA — George W. DeBacker, 74, Delia, died Wednesday morning at his home after suf¬fering an apparent heart at¬tack. He was born Dec. 24, 1900, at St. Marys, and had lived in the St. Marys and Delia areas all his life. He was a retired farmer. Mr. DeBacker was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Delia and the Knights of Co¬lumbus Council No. 657 at St. Marys. He was married to Margaret Mulligan on April 26, 1922, at Delia. She survives. Other survivors include two sons, Gerald E. DeBacker, Bel-ton, Mo., and George C. De¬Backer, Delia; a brother, Fran¬cis DeBacker, 2218 Wilmington Court, Topeka; two sisters, Mrs. Edna Hartley, 527 Tyler, Topeka, and Mrs. Virginia Bailey, Orlando, Fla.; five grandchildren and two great¬grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Delia. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery, St. Marys. Parish rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Verschelden Funeral Home in St. Marys.
