HOLTON — Raymon Theodore DeVader, 58, Holton, died Tuesday, March 17, 1992, at his home.
He worked for Goodyear for 30 years. He also was a farmer and stockman.
He was born June 5, 1933, in Delia, the son of Henry Francis and Ines Hladky DeVaaer. He lived in Holton 28 years and previously had lived in Emmett.
He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War.
He was a member of United Rubber Workers Local Union No. 307, and St. Dominick Catholic Church in Holton.
He was married to Mary Page on June 25, 1962, in Emmett. They were divorced.
Survivors include two daughters, Evonda Lierz, Kansas City, Kan., Kimberly Richter, Holton; a son, Daymon DeVader, Circleville; his mother, Ines DeVader, Holton: three sisters, Ramona Robinson and Renetta Moore, both Mayetta, and Rosalee Boling, Hoyt; four brothers, Francis DeVader, Richard DeVader and Roger DeVader, all of Holton, and Robert DeVader, Singlesprings, Calif.; and one grandson.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Dominick Catholic Church in Holton. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery in Holton. He will lie in state after 1 p.m. today at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton where a Parish Rosary will be at 7 p.m. and relatives and friends will meet following the Rosary.
