  Obituary- Bailey, Effie Effie Bailey Mrs. Effie bailey, 88, Route 1, Delia, died Monday in a Topeka hospital where she was admitted Saturday. She was born Oct. 14. 1887, at West Liberty, Ky., the daughter of Francis and Abbie Jane Day, and lived in the Delia community since 1908. She was a member of Pottawatomie United Meth¬odist Church west of Mayetta. She was born Oct. 14, 1887, at West Liberty, Ky., and lived in the Delia community since 1908. She was a mem¬ber of Pottawatomie United Methodist Church, west of Mayetta. Survivors include four sons, Emerson Bailey, and Stanley Bailey, both of Silver Lake, and Henry Bailey and Lester Bailey, both of Delia; a sister, Mrs. Ellen Bailey, 527 Norwood; six grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Mercer Funeral Home at Holton, Burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery north of Silver Lake. Memorial contributions may be made to Pottawato¬mie United Methodist Church, west of Mayetta.
