Maxine Myrtle Fryman, 76, Topeka, died Friday, May 12, 2000, at a Topeka nursing home.
She was born August 4, 1923, in Rossville, the daughter of Dudley V. and Myrtle I. Kirkpatrick Marney.
She had lived in Blackfoot, ID before returning to Topeka in 1996.
She was graduated from Rossville High School and attended business school in Topeka. Mrs. Fryman was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary to Blackfoot Aerie #3813, Fraternal Order of Eagles.
She married Jess Fryman at Kansas City in 1943. He died in December 1982.
Survivors include a daughter, Vicki Jo Ketter, Topeka; a son, Dudley Jesse Fryman, Garden City; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Her service was private. Burial was in Rossville Cemetery. Parker-Price Mortuary, Topeka was in charge of arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.

She was born Aug. 4, 1923, in Rossville, the daughter of Dudley V. and Myrtle I. Kirkpatrick Marney. She graduated from Rossville High School and she attended business school in Topeka. She lived in Blackfoot, Ida¬ho, before she moved back to Topeka in 1996.
