Mrs. Mollie Harris, 90, formerly of Rossville, died Saturday, December 29, 1979, at a Topeka nursing home.
She was born April 13, 1889, in Elliott County, Ky., the daughter of Breckenridge David and Allie Victoria Reynolds Carter. She lived in Shawnee County most of her life.
She was a member of Rossville Christian Church.
She was married to Mel Harris. He died in May 1970. She was also preceded in death by a son, Glenn Harris, in 1932.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Edna Hays, Auburn; two sisters, Mrs. Jewell Hurt, New Castle, Ind., and Mrs. Della Maybury, Elliott County, Ky.; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Newcomer-Diffenderfer Funeral Home. Burial will be in Silver Lake Cemetery, Silver Lake.
