Donna E. Westfall
Donna Elizabeth Westfall, 74, Topeka, died Tuesday, March 11, 2003, at a Topeka care center.
She was born December 8, 1928, in Hoyt, the daughter of James Henry and Myrtle Mae Dillinger Bailey. She graduated from Silver Lake High School.
Mrs. Westfall retired from the city of Topeka Water Department. She earlier had owned and operated Mothers Attic Antiques.
Mrs. Westfall was a member of Lowman United Methodist Church, past matron of Hoyt Chapter No. 189 of the Order of the Eastern Star, a member to the Provost Guard of the Arab Temple, Kansas Grand Representatives Association of the Order of the Eastern Star, and she was Kansas Order of the Eastern Star Grand Chapter Representative to the Grand Chapter of Maryland from 1988 to 1990.
On October 17, 1948, she married John Merritt Westfall, Jr. in Hoyt. He died February 25, 1997.
Survivors include two sons, Michael Westfall, Delia, and Samuel Westfall, Topeka; two daughters, Pamela Rohr, and Linda Rickson, both of Topeka; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Her service was Friday morning at Parker-Price Mortuary. Chapter No. 189 conducted an Order of the Eastern Star service. Burial was in Walnut Hill Cemetery at Grove. Visitation was at the funeral home Thursday evening.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Crippled Children’s Fund and sent in care of the Arab Shrine Temple, 1305 South Kansas Avenue, Topeka 66611.
