Lula K. Horack, New Paris, Ohio, died Tuesday, January 3, 1989, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton, Ohio, after a lengthy illness.
She retired in 1965 from McCall Corp. in Dayton. She was a member of the Lewisburg Church of God.
Survivors include her husband, Edward J. Horack; a son, Kenneth E. Horack, Lewisburg, Ohio; daughters, Velma J. Pitts and Jeraldine Hutchison, both of Dayton; sisters, Minnie Wright and Ruby Prater, both of Dayton; brothers, Ova Brewer, Owosso, Mich., Ray Caldwell, Detroit, Mich., and Ted Caldwell, Dayton, Ohio; several nieces and nephews, 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She is the sister-in-law of Bennie Horak and Emily Dodge, both of Delia, and Esther Wehner, Rossville.
Funeral services were Friday, January 6, 1989, at Lewisburg Church of God with Pastor Linda Evans officiating. Burial was at Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg. Family received friends on Thursday, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Barnes Funeral Home, Lewisburg Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lewisburg Church of God.
