Mrs. Joann Kaberline, 59, Berryton, died Sunday, July 2, 1989, at her home. Authorities said Mrs. Kaberline died of natural causes.
She was born Oct. 19, 1929, at Bonner Springs, the daughter of Homer A. and Josephine A. Petty Collins. She lived in Rossville before she moved to Berryton 10 years ago.
Mrs. Kaberline was a member of the United Methodist Church in Rossville.
She was married to Richard Kaberline Oct. 19, 1973, in Topeka. He survives.
Other survivors include a son, Stephen D. Patterson, Topeka; a daughter, Debrah L. Grazier, Kansas City, Kan.; two stepsons, Robin Kaberline, Perry, and Richard P. Kaberline Jr., Topeka; a stepdaughter, Michelle Curtis, Topeka; two brothers, Robert Collins, Independence, Mo., and James Collins, Kirksville, Mo.; seven sisters, Beverly Johnson, Sheila Collins and Stella Murphy, all of Lawrence, Donna Adams, Sedona, Ariz., Bonnie Blair, Ventura, Calif., Frances Wood, Pacifica, Wash., and Patsy Price, De Soto; nine grand-children; and three great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Kaberline was cremated. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Brennan Funeral Home. Relatives and friends will meet from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Inurnment arrangements are pending. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, Kansas Affiliate, Inc., 5375 W. 7th, 66606.
