McGuire, of Kansas City, Mo., formerly of Rossville. The ceremony took place at 3:00 o'clock Saturday afternoon, February 25, at the First Church of the Nazarene in Kansas City, Mo., with the Rev. A. Milton Smith officiating. Miss Virginia Willcoxen, of LaSalle, Ill., sister of the bride, was mid of honor, and Mr. Vincent P. Heim, of Topeka, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, acted as best man. Mrs. McGuire is a graduate of Olivet Nazarene College and formerly taught in the Wright School at Canton, Ill. For the last three years she has been employed by the Kansas City Weather Bureau. Mr. McGuire is a graduate of the Rossville High School and of Emporia State Teachers College. He taught at Auburn and other Shawnee county schools. He now is a meteorologist at the United States Weather Bureau in Kansas City, Mo. Following a honeymoon trip, Mr. and Mrs. McGuire will be at home at 7412 El Monte Road in Mission, Kansas.   Obituary- McGuire, Robert E. Robert Edward McGuire May 08, 1952 - April 17, 2008 Robert Edward McGuire of Prairie Village Kansas died April 17, 2008 after a brief illness. Bob was born May 8, 1952 in Kansas City Missouri to Edward and Cleona McGuire. He grew up in Prairie Village and graduated from Shawnee Mission East High School in 1970. Bob was active in the youth group at Kansas City First Church of the Nazarene, including Boy Scout Troop 64, where he earned Eagle Scout. He attended Kansas State University in Manhattan Kansas, graduating with his B.S. in Accounting in 1974. Bob became a Certified Public Accountant in 1976 and held various accounting positions in Kansas City at Lester Witte Co., New West Presentations, and was business manager for the former Kansas City Comets. He founded his own accounting firm in 1981 with offices in Westport, where he worked until his death. He enjoyed reading and gardening. Bob was preceded in death by his father Edward McGuire. He is survived by his mother Cleona McGuire of Prairie Village Kansas and a brother Brian McGuire of Camarillo California.
