MRS. OPHELIA LANE BURIED HERE SUNDAY
Funeral services for Mrs. Ophelia Lillard Lane, were held Sunday afternoon at the John Lillard home, conducted by Rev. Gordon S. Pritchett of the Methodist church. Music was furnished by a quartet whose members included Mrs. Clyde Cless, Miss Grace Sanders, Mr. J.D. Fink and Rev. Pritchett. The body was interred in Rossville cemetery.
Mrs. Lane is the daughter of Mrs. J.H. Lillard who make her home with MR. and Mrs. John Lillard. She passed away last Thursday at a Kansas City hospital, at the age of 51 years, 9 months and 5 days.
Mrs. Lane was born in Illinois, Feb. 26, 1876 and came to Kansas with her parents, while very young. Her early life was spent in Rossville until her marriage. Besides her mother she is survived by five brothers; Rufus A.; Chris and John A. Lillard, of Rossville; James M. Lillard, of Valencia and B.B. Lillard, Topeka.

New Keener and his brother, Lee returned to their home at Wakefield, Kansas, Wednesday after a few days visit here with relatives and old friends. They were called here Sunday to attend the funeral of Mrs. Frank Lane.
