    Anna Bauer Rites
    Tuesday at Delia

    DELIA— Mrs. Anna J. Bauer, 83, formerly of Delia, died Sunday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Helen McGurk, Houston, Tex., where she had lived the past four years.

    She was born Dec. 7, 1882. She spent most of her life in the Delia community in Jackson County. She was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church at Houston, Tex., and was a former member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church at Delia.
    Her husband, Jacob Bauer, died Nov. 6, 1951.

    Survivors include two other daughters, Mrs. Olga Slough, Neligh, Neb., and Mrs. Agnes Send, Washington, Kan.; a sister, Mrs. Bertha Klinge, 4712 W. 6th, Topeka; 16 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

    Services will be at noon Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at Delia. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery at St. Marys. Mrs. Bauer will lie from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Verschelden Funeral Home at St. Marys.
