Services were at 2:30 Saturday at Verschelden Chapel for Floyd E. Lytle, 71, Belvue, who died Thursday, September 7, 1978, at his home.
He was born August 17, 1907, in Kaw Township, south of Belvue. He drove a road maintainer for Kaw Township before he retired.
He married Laura Morrison on February 18, 1928. She survives.
Other survivors include two sons, Leighton Lytle, Belvue, and Mervin Lytle, St. Marys; a brother, Clinton Lytle, Rossville; two sisters, Mrs. Thelma Seele, Wamego, and Mrs. Evelyn Woehr, St. Marys; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Burial was in the Greenwood Cemetery, south of Belvue. Friends and family met from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Fund.
Casket bearers were Lyle Arand, Carl Grieshaber, Ernest Schleif, William Gehring, Sr., George Seele and Zeke Reiners, all neighbors of the Lytles.
