Mrs. Belle Cottle Perry, 82, widow of Henry Perry, died Friday at her home on lower Elkfork in Kentucky after a long illness. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Cottle of Licking River, Kentucky, and was a granddaughter of Joseph Cottle, Revolutionary War veteran who came to Morgan county in the early 1800’s.
Mrs. Perry had been a member of the Baptist Church many years. Funeral was conducted Sunday in the Potter Chapel in West Liberty, Kentucky. Interment was in the John Henry cemetery near Pomp.
Surviving are seven sons, Bryan, Newt, Ben Frank, Charley and Bill Perry of West Liberty; Chandler Perry of Osborn, Ohio, and Woodrow Perry of Yocum.
The deceased lady was a daughter of the late Frank and Alice Cottle of Rossville. Surviving brothers and sisters are Joe and Goebel Cottle, Emma Waller of Topeka, Bessie Startup, Linnie Prater, Rae Trimble and Fannie Oldfield of Rossville.
