Miss Leona Meyer was the honored guest at a bridal shower, Wednesday evening, given by her sisters, Mrs. Gene Gilgannon of Delia and Mrs. Jack Gleason at the latter's home. Miss Meyer received many lovely and useful gifts. The evening was spent with games and contests. Refreshments were served. Those present were: Miss Meyer, Mrs. Vida Stumbaugh, Miss Alice Lemon, Mrs. Etta Boyles, Miss Lila Ellis, Mrs. Mame Meyer. Mrs. Ernest Reser, Miss Ernestine Reser, Mrs. Clarence Heinisch, Mrs. Al Heinisch, Mrs. Frank Debacher and Mrs. Joe Heinisch, of Topeka; Miss Jennie Heiland, Miss Anne Cullen, Mrs. Perry of St. Marys, Mrs. Ruth Hesse, Mrs. H. ROSSVILLE — Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church here for Milton R. Perry, 67, who died Monday at his home here. He apparently had a heart attack.
He owned and operated Perry Plumbing and Electric at Rossville many years before he retired in April,
1973.
He was born April 13, 1908, at St. Marys and spent his early life in the St. Marys community. He lived at Frankfort eight years and later at Hope in Dickinson County three years before he moved to Rossville in 1946.
He formerly was employed by Kansas Power and Light at Frankfort and had been manager of the Kansas Power and Light office at Hope. He was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church at Rossville.
He was married to Leona Meyer Oct. 15, 1935, at St. Marys. She survives. A daughter, Sandra Kay Perry, died in 1945.
Survivors include a son, Jerry Perry, Rossville; a daughter, Mrs. Charlene Ann Corbin, Lynn Haven, Fla.; three brothers, George Perry, Blair, Okla., Clayton Perry, St. Marys, and Leo Perry, 3310 Eveningside Drive. Topeka; three sisters, Mrs. Lila Struble, St. Marys, and Mrs. Glora Lee Riddle and Mrs. Delores Martin, both of Denver, Colo.; and five grandchildren.
Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery at St. Marys. Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Verschelden Funeral Home at St. Marys.

Milton R. Perry, 67, died suddenly Monday evening, April 21, 1975 at his home in Rossville.
He was married to Leona Meyer October 5, 1935 in St. Marys. She survives. Other survivors include a son, Gerald (Jerry) Perry, Rossville; a daughter, Mrs. Charlene Ann Corbin, Lynn Haven, Fla.; three brothers - George Perry, Blaine, Okla., Clayton Perry, St. Marys, and Leo Perry, Topeka; three sisters Mrs. Lila Struble, St. Marys, Mrs. Glora Lee Riddle and Mrs. Delores Martin, Denver, Colo.; and five grandchildren. A daughter, Sandra Kay Perry, died in 1945.
Mr. Perry had worked 11 years for Kansas Power and Light - eight years at Frankfort as lineman, and three years as office manager for the KPL office in Hope. In 1946, he returned to Rossville and bought what is now the Perry Plumbing and Electric Company which he operated until his retirement in 1973.
Parish rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Verschelden Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be at 10.00 a.m. Thursday at St. Stanislaus Church in Rossville. Interment will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in St. Marys. Casket bearers will be John DeBacker and Mike Kamer, Topeka, Burns Hesse, Roy Wilt, George Sullivan and John Jacobsen, all of Rossville.
