  Obituary- Prater, Linnie Mrs. Linnie Prater ROSSVILLE – Service arrangements are pending at Verschelden Funeral Home, St. Marys, for Mrs. Linnie Prater, 87, Rossville, who died Saturday in a St. Marys rest home. She was born Jan. 22, 1883, at West Liberty, Ky., and lived in the Rossville community since 1907. She was a member of the Christian Church and the auxiliary of the American Legion Post, both at Rossville. She was married to Hezekiah Prater in 1903 at West Liberty, Ky. He preceded her in death. Survivors include five sons, Earl Prater, Rossville, Russell Prater, Spokane, Wash., Roy Prater, Alamogordo, N.M., Ray Prater, San Francisco, Omer Prater, Denver, Colo.; two daughters, Mrs. Gladys Skidmore, Dalhart, Tex., and Mrs. Opal Montgomery, San Diego, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Emma Waller, 427 Wilson, Topeka, and Mrs. Bessie Startup and Mrs. Rae Trimble, both of Rossville; eight grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Services will be at the Christian Church at Rossville. Time has not been set. Burial will be in Rossville Cemetery.
