MATTHEW REZAC
Matt Rezac, 78, well known Pottawatomie county resident, died Thursday, July 15th, at Stormont hospital in Topeka.
Mr. Rezac was born in Prague, in old Austria Hungary, December 10th 1858. He has been a prominent farmer and stockman in that county for many years. He served as county commissioner two terms during the pre-war days.
Funeral services were held Sunday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Roy Lasswell at Emmett, and were conducted by the Masonic lodge of St. Marys and the Scottish Rite of Topeka.
He is survived by eight children, Mrs. Howard Peddicord of Wamego; Mrs. Harriet Loftus, of Denver, Colo; Mrs. George Greenfield of Los Angeles, Calif.; Mrs. Roy Lasswell, Mrs. Rosy Smith and Godfrey Rezac of Emmett; Matthew Rezac of Onaga, Ed Rezac of Delia; also a sister and two brothers besides grandchildren and other relatives and a host of friends.
