  Obituary- Saia, Christena Was native of Rossville Services were held Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Delia, for Mrs. Christena Saia, 80, Sabetha, native of Rossville. Burial was in the Holy Cross Cemetery, Emmett, by the Verschelden Funeral Home. Mrs. Saia died Friday in a Sabetha hospital. She was born Oct. 11, 1890, at Rossville and had lived in the Delia community most of her life before moving to Sabetha about two years ago. She was a member of the Delia Sacred Heart Church. Mrs. Saia was married to Joseph Saia in 1911 at Emmett. He preceded her in death Feb. 23, 1934. Survivors include two sons: Victor Saia and Joseph Saia, both of Topeka; two daughters: Mrs. Pauline Banks, Sabetha; Mrs. Josephine Reilly, Topeka. Two brothers: Ed Kalcik, of Scranton; Joe Kalcik, Silver Lake; two sisters: Mrs. Anna Saia, Emmett; Mrs. Emma Finstad, Silver Lake; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. The pall bearers: Victor Lee Saia, Silver Lake; Ronald Saia, Nicholas Reilly, Timothy Reilly, Joseph Saia Jr., Tony Saia, all of Topeka.
