Edith Scheidegger
Services were scheduled today at Mercer Funeral Home, Holton, for Mrs. Edith L. Scheidegger, 90, 633 Buchanan, who died Thursday night at a Topeka nursing home where she had been two and a half months.
She was born Feb. 6. 1888, in Stella, Neb. She lived in the Havensville and Delia communities, and later in Holton five years. She moved to Topeka in 1951.
She was a member of Evangel United Methodist Church, Holton.
She married John Scheidegger on Aug. 22, 1906, in Topeka. He died Feb. 9,1950.
Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Mabel Streeton, Omaha, Neb., Mrs. Carrie Scheidegger, Holton, and Mrs. Ellen Hedges. Madison Lake, Minn.; five step-grandchildren and several step-great-grandchildren.
Burial was to be in Holton Cemetery, Holton. Memorial contributions may be made to Evangel United Methodist Church, Holton, and sent in care of Kansas State Bank.
