  Obituary- Simecka, Joyce Joyce Arlene Simecka Joyce Arlene (Lutz) Simecka passed away Dec. 26, 2010, in Las Vegas, Nev. She was 71 years old. Joyce was born Aug. 24, 1939, in rural Delia, to Lester Lutz and Garnet (Wood) Lutz. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, daughter and friend. She was an active member of the Boulder City Christian Center, Boulder City, Nev. She is survived by her husband, Karl Simecka, and her four children and their spouses, Keith Simecka of Boulder City, Kelly and Gabriel Chavez of Holton, Kan., Karla and Luke Bylund of Holton, Kan.; and Karen Simecka of Boulder City. She also leaves six grandchildren, Nichole, Korey, Tonja, Dustin, Dakota, and Joshua; and one great-grandson, Preston. Joyce was preceded in death by a son, Korey, parents Lester and Garnet Lutz, and a sister, Carol Wallace. The family held memorial services at the Boulder City Christian Center on Jan. 2 and will hold another on Jan. 15 at 2 p.m. at Piper Funeral Home, St. Marys, Kan.
