  Obituary- Timmons, Viola Mrs. Viola B. Timmons WAMEGO — Inurnment services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Wamego City Cemetery for Mrs. Viola Baxter Timmons, 97, Edwardsville, who died late Sunday, Feb. 26, at an Edwardsville nursing home. She was born Feb. 3, 1887, at Jefferson City, Mo., the daughter of James L. and Eliza Bloid Baxter. She was married to Rilev Timmons Jan. 4, 1911, at Westmoreland. He preceded her in death. A son, Louis Timmons, also preceded her in death. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Betty J. Kusler, Kansas City, Kan.; three sons, Carroll Timmons, Delia, Melvin Timmons Sr., Topeka, and Lyle Timmons, Manhattan; 25 grandchildren; 68 great-grandchildren; and 32 great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Timmons was cremated; Arnos Family Funeral Home in Shawnee is in charge of arrangements.
