Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Davidson-Duff Funeral Home for Kenneth Tomson, 80, 1610 Clay, who died early Thursday at a Topeka hospital where he had been admitted Sunday. He had undergone surgery Monday.
He was born July 4,1891, near Elmont, and lived in the Topeka and Elmont communities all his life.
Mr. Tomson was a foreman for Menoken Township for many years and was employed 15 years by Martin Tractor Co. before he retired. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church.
He was married to Nora Lewis on Feb. 26, 1913. They celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary this year.
Survivors, besides his widow, include two sons, Harold Tomson, Imperial Beach, Calif., and Wilbur Tomson, Delia; a daughter, Mrs. Faye Marney, Berryton; 11 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Prairie Home Cemetery. Mr. Tomson will lie in state at the funeral home until service time.
