Mrs. Genevieve S. Wehe, 78, Altadena, Calif., died Sunday at a Topeka hospital.
She was born July 2, 1903, at Delia, the daughter of John and Emma Chase Stach. She spent much of her life in New Jersey before moving to California.
Mrs. Wehe was a member of Church of God, Sonoma, Calif.
She was married to Herman Gregg Wehe July 8, 1922, at Topeka. He died May 16, 1981.
Survivors include a son, Theodore J. Wehe, Orange, Calif.; a daughter, Kav A. Wehe, Monrovia, Calif.; five sisters, Eva L. Cox and Bernice L. Douglas, both of Topeka, Clara E. Patterson, Sparrowbush, N.Y., Ruth E. Accolla, Seaford, N.Y., and Rose V. Sizemore, Burrton, and two grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home with burial in Mount Hope Cemetery.
