Services for Wilbur Simpson Whitlock, 75, of Maple Hill, retired farmer who died Tuesday, at his home were at 10:30 a. m. Thursday at Parkers mortuary, with burial in Maple Hill cemetery.
Mr. Whitlock was born in Bellville, Ill., February 4, 1874, and came to Kansas when a child. He had lived in Wilson and Neosho counties before moving to Maple Hill three years ago.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Huldah Whitlock; three daughters, Mrs. Cecil Davis is of Neodesha and Mrs. T. O. Meyers of Rossville and Mrs. J. M. Powell of Cut Bank, Mont.; a son, Robert Whitlock of Rossville; a brother, Ray Whitlock of Elmdale; two sisters, Mrs. Don Pierson of Osage City, and Mrs. W. F. Vilven of San Antonio, and three grandchildren.
