Friends and relatives are invited to call from 2 to 4 pm. Mr. and Mrs. Wyatt have lived in Lecompton the past 20 years and Mr. Wyatt has worked in Topeka most of his married life. They have 12 children, 40 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. The reception will be given by their children and their families. The children are: Howard Wyatt, Wichita, Glen Wyatt, Bellevue, Neb.; Duane Wyatt, Lawrence; Mrs. Dale Farrell, Mrs. Al Nocktonick, Mrs. William Ostrander, Mrs. Loren Green, Mrs. Dan Schloetzer, Marion Wyatt, Lloyd Wyatt, James Wyatt, and Robert Wyatt.

  Obituary- Wyatt, John R. John Robert Wyatt Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home for John Robert Wyatt, 76, Lecompton, who died Thursday in a Topeka hospital after a short illness. He was born Jan. 14, 1899, in Maysville, Ky. He had lived in Lecompton 25 years and was a retired carpenter. He was married April 22, 1919, to Flossie Graham in Delia. She survives. Other survivors include seven sons, Robert Wyatt, Albuquerque, N.M., Glen Wyatt, Bellevue, Neb., Howard Wyatt, Andover, Marion Wyatt, 2315 N. Clay, Lloyd Wyatt, 4021 N.W. Pocahontas Drive, Duane Wyatt, Lawrence, and Dwight “Jim” Wyatt, 2413 Bellview; five daughters, Mrs. Geneva Farrell, 3030 N.W. 66th, Mrs. Margie Mulanax, 6529 N.W. 86th, Mrs. Loveign Ostrander, 3124 N.W. 66th, Mrs. June Green, 10449 N.W. 4th, and Mrs. Joyce Diepenbrock, 3029 Minnesota; a brother, Kiah Wyatt, 7150 N.W. US-75; a sister, Mrs. Luttie Fisher, Lawrence; 51 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. Burial will be in Half Day Cemetery north of Topeka.
