DELIA— Robert Henry Wilson, 65, Delia, died Saturday, Aug. 23, 1997, at home.
He was born July 19, 1932, in Delia, the son of Herman and Millie Kolbek Wilson.
He worked in construction 36 years for several companies and spent his life in the Delia community. He served in the Army during the Korean War.
He was a member of the Catholic Church and Labor Union Local No. 142.
He was married to Helen Williams 35 years ago. She survives.
Other survivors include two sons, Gary Dean Wilson, Mayetta, and Robert Wilson, Jr., Silver Lake; four daughters, Vicki Wilson, Mayetta, Cindy Aitkens, Topeka, and Roberta Wilson and Charlene Wilson, both in Delia; three stepdaughters, Lisa Aitkens, Mayetta, Mary Thomas, Horton, and Janice Matchie, Holton; a sister, the former Faye Wilson, address unavailable; and 23 grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton, Burial arrangements are pending. Mr. Wilson will lie in state after noon today at the funeral home.
