GREAT BEND — Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Bryant and Fryberger Mortuary here for Harold P. Winters, 65, Great Bend, who died here Friday.
He was born June 10, 1910, in Holton, and lived in Galatia until moving here in 1958. He was employed at Harper's Construction Co. here. He was a veteran of World War II.
He was married Aug. 18, 1952, in Benton, Ark., to Clara Mitchell. She survives.
Other survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Wanda Phillips, Baton Rouge, La., Mrs. Patricia Meyer, Lawrence, Mrs. Beverly Scott, Great Bend, and Tuesday Winters, Ellinwood; two stepsons, Victor E. Poe Jr., Topeka, and Warren Graves, Rossville, a brother, John Winters. Holton; two sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Green, Circleville, and Rozella Winters, Holton; nine grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Fairview Township Cemetery, Galatia. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kansas Heart Association.
