Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Parker-Price Chapel for Aaron B. Ausherman, 78, 1935 S.E. Maryland, who died Wednesday night in a Topeka hospital after a long illness.
He was born Feb. 5, 1900, at Delia and lived in Topeka all his life. He was a hammersmith at the Santa Fe Shops for 42 years before he retired in 1964.
He was a member of the Hope LuthŽeran Church and the Santa Fe Old TimŽers Club.
He was married to Hazel Carlson on July 16, 1927, in Oklahoma City, Okla. She survives at home.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Doris Jean Tilghman, Merriam; three sisters, Mrs. Alice Johnson, Mrs. SaŽrah Farrell and Mrs. Ruth Chance, all of Topeka; a brother, Henry AusherŽman, San Bernardino, Calif.; two grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
