Georgianne Davis of Topeka will celebrate her 80th birthday as guest of honor at a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. April 5 at Martin Creek Place, 4950 S.W. Huntoon.

Hosts will be her son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Kate Davis.

Her birthdate is April 10.

Mrs. Davis was born in Shawnee County. For 14 years she lived in Chicago, where she worked for the Victor Adding Machine Co. and for R.R. Street and Co., industrial chemists. In 1951, she moved to Topeka, where she worked at the Topeka Supply Depot for 10 years. She retired in 1983 after 21 years of service with the Kansas Department of Transportation.
