The following item was taken from a Knoxville, Tenn., paper and sent to us by Mrs. Blanche Gilbert of Oklahoma, City. It gives the details of the recent death of Bert Parks a former Rossville business man.

Salesman Found Dead in Room
Knoxville, Tenn.—April 8, 1950 —
“A Florida salesman was found dead in his hotel room Saturday. His neck was clamped in a suit case, his head inside.

Knox County coroner Sydney Wulfenbarger said he believed Bert Parks about 70, of Lakeland, Florida, died of a heart attack. He had been treated by a doctor Friday night.”

“The coroner theorized Parks had the seizure while sitting in a chair, then fell, striking the suit case and jarring the lid so it closed on his head”
