Obituary- Burgett, Nathan

DELIA -- Nathan E. Burgett, 88, Delia, died Thurs. at a St. Marys nursing home where he had been a patient five years. He was born Jan. 7, 1886, in Marysville. He and his wife moved to Delia in 1910. Mr. Burgett was a retired farmer. He was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church at Delia.
He was married to Phebe Curran on May 31, 1905, at Dawson, Neb. She died in 1965.
Survivors include two sons, Robert I. Burgett, Delia, and Joseph W. Burgett, 1117 Saline, Topeka, a sister, Mrs. Etta Crook, Humboldt, Neb.; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Sat. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Delia. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery in St. Marys. Parish rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Verschelden Funeral Home in St. Marys.
