LETTIE E. COMPTON
Mrs. Lettie E. Compton, 85, Topeka, died Monday, November 4, 1985, at a Topeka hospital.
Mrs. Compton and her husband farmed in the Wakarusa community before they retired in 1974, and moved into Topeka.
She was born September 12, 1900, at Rossville, the daughter of William W. and Isabella Reser Page.
Mrs. Compton was a member of Seabrook Congregational Church.
She was married to Otis W. Compton September 18, 1927, at Silver Lake. He died in February, 1985.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Shirley McCoy, Dayton, Ohio; and a granddaughter.
Mrs. Compton was cremated. Memorial services were at 10 a.m. Friday in Mulvane Chapel at the United Methodist Home, Topeka. Tibbitts-Griffin Highland Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
